Thankyou to everyone who supported us in the recent Relay for Life in Singleton. Safety Plus Training raised a grand total of $1349. We were proud to be associated with such a worthy cause and look forward to participating again next year.
Trainer Tim Dunn, was unable to take part in the Relay for Life because he was participating in the 2009 MS Gong Ride the same weekend. He was part of the top fundraising team Downer EDI Soft-cogs who managed to raise a massive $143,149. Well done on all their hard work.

Safety Plus Training has put together a team of workmates, friends and family to participate in the 2009 Singleton Relay for Life. This is an event created by the Cancer Council and aims is to remember those we’ve lost to this terrible disease, celebrate those who have survived and raise money for cancer research, advocacy and support. It is an issue very close to our hearts.
The event is being held this Saturday, 31st October, at the Singleton Showground. If you would like to donate to this valuable cause please click on the following link:

All donations will be gratefully received. Safety Plus will be donating part of the course fee from all the senior first aid courses held throughout October to their fundraising effort. A commerical grade first aid kit is also being raffled off - tickets are available at our office and will also be available on the night.
We are proud to announce that Lisa Badior, our Administration Manager, took out the Employee of the Year award at the annual Singleton Outsanding Business Awards held on 8th August. Safety Plus Training was awarded runner up in the Education and Training category. It was a great night and a good opportunity to celebrate the hard work put in by the team at Safety Plus Training.
Congratulations to all the winners on the night.

Following another successful competition in 2008, Scott is once again making the journey to Indonesia for their 12th Annual Fire and Rescue Competition. Scott will deliver two training packages before assisting in the organisation and assessment of participants as they undertake their rescue simulations. We wish them all luck!
Remember: call for assistance, pressure bandage, rest and reassure.
